Hello replaced an old consumer unit with new-cannot stop main rcd from tripping out disconnected all circuits live and neutrals and earths and then connected one circuit at a time.It does not matter which circuit i plug in rcd trips out any ideas.
***** ***** : The RCD is picking up an imbalnce between the Live and Neutral, most likely a leak to earth
***** ***** : Try removing all the wires and then only attaching one circuit at a time
***** ***** : Does the power stay on with nothing but the mains connected?

the power stays on-all circuits were disconnected and then reconnected one at a time. but every time I connected a circuit it did not matter lights -points -cooker the rcd trips out
