Sorry, it depends how it is wired, whether you have a 2 port valve or a 3 port valve.
If you can follow the wires from the jucnctionb box then it will be wired one of 2 ways as the link below;

Hi , I am afraid that your previous answer was correct . heating controls arnt wired as live , neutral and earth etc as in normal electrics. Heating wires are signal control wires and engineers will use whatever colour is handy . is if they run a four core cable from a programmer to a cylinder stat, they will use whatever colours they want. This is why electricians find heating wiring impossible,you have to know the purpose of the wiring and its relationship to the mechanical components. From your programmer hot water out ( usually 3 on the backplate) this will run to common. After that it depends if you have a two,two port motorised valves or one three port motorised valves. Engineers have to know what system you have to establish the wiring , as each one is wired differently
