Hi i have a 3 year old baxi duo tec combi 28 he with just a basic thermostat connected but have a horstmann wirless device to replace it with and im not sure how to wire it as the boiler has a mechanical timer built in that may need to be disconnected ??? Help !!

Brian :

Hi firstly if its a programmable wireless device I would suggest you don't disconnect the existing timer you just turn it to constant and use the programmer via the thermostat control. To wire this type of device or a basic wireless thermostat up you will need a permanent live to power the receiver. So Live & Neutral to the relevant terminals. Then use the other two to connect to the boiler thermostat connections.
