Does it produce any error codes, or flash? It’s likely overheating, or the internal control board has failed. A multimeter would be needed to confirm, although I would not recommend even opening this unit up. They are not user friendly when it comes to working on themIf it’s under a year old it should be under warrantyLet me know your follow up questions

My heater keeps randomly switching itself on and off, there is no logic to the times it does it.
