Hi my boiler won’t work
JA: Are you getting any error codes or blinking lights on your boiler? How old is it?
Customer: yes
JA: How long has this been going on with your boiler? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Tried pressure have 2 red lighys *lights
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: ch sensor red light is on and she red sensor light. Is on *dhw

Good evening, please could you tell me the make and model of your boiler?

Also, the current system pressure reading.

Hi
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
It’s a heatline c28
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
The red lights are flashing for the dhw and the CH sensors and the pressure is low but I have used the black valve to get the pressure up to 1.5 bar like I have on other boilers before
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
But it doesn’t seem to be changing and eventually the pressure goes down again
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
the check outside temperature sensor is red
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
the pipe with the red valve has been dripping water and leaking
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
From the red valve

What does the pressure go down to?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
It goes down to the red eventually
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
This valve leaks
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
These 2 lights are always red
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
Then eventually this 3 red one comes on! The heating never turns on but the water lasts until the pressure bar goes too low and then it goes cold
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
then all 4 lights are red and nothing is on! And this leak from this red valve continues

Are you seeing water coking out of the discharge pipe outside the house? When you say red valve, I don’t see that in any photos.

If the pressure is dropping fast, it’s not feasible to operate the boiler at all. If the PRV isn’t shutting then it will have to be replaced.

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
This red valve on the left is leaking
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
How do I check the discharge pipe outside the house? I have no idea what it looks like :/
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
Only moved in about 5 hours ago

OK I see the valve - that’s the heating flow pipe. It’s hard to imagine how someone could have been using this boiler. When was it last working reliably?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
The previous tenant apparently about a week ago

What is your plan with the leak? I suggest that you contact the owner and ask them to fix it, otherwise you can’t use the boiler.
