JA: How old is your boiler? What water pressure does the gauge show?
Customer: Over 5 years
JA: How long has this been going on with your boiler? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just today tried putting heating on too but no response

Is this a combi, or do you have stored hot water?

This boiler doesn't have a pressure gauge, and you might have a vented system.  Do you have a header tank in the loft?

Many Thanks, ***** solved. All that was needed was to reset button.

I'm sure that the reset button would cause the boiler to reset, but that isn't a solution to anything; you haven't completed the fault-finding and so haven't established the cause of the fault.

I hope the "F" doesn't happen again, but if it does then please tell me what letter is alternating with it.
