Hopefully i can help..

Could be one or two sensors which can cause this - the first being the ECT sensor its mostly a sensor which works as temp sender for the ecu to determine the temperature of the coolant/engine to alter fuel/air etc ..if the sensor goes bad which they can often do without warning bar the starting issues in regards to engine temp - they can send incorrect reads back and fool the ecu to think the engines cold and thus you get an overfuelling issues or non starting when the engine has got upto the temperature/hot..until of course the engine has cooled the engine can be started again..the other is the Crank position sensor..sometimes these can tend to overheat in itself and stop working thus you get no certainly check if you can when this fault occurrs is to pull the plugs or plug out and check its got a spark...if the spark isnt there at hot then it porbable the crank position sensors gone - so asa bove i would maybe try the ECT sensor..they are pretty cheap to aquire..I do hope this helps
