Customer Question

I own a Hyundai Santa fe, 2007 model, 2.2 CRD, but the heater fan is stuck on full speed despite the display showing the fan speed increasing /decreasing as I push the fan speed button on the control.
I've tried to find the relay associated with the fan / blower but can only find one that is located beside the fan, underneath the glove compartment. It seems to be working ok but only switches on when the fan speed display is at the last two click ie. max speed. I disconnected the relay but it does nothing. I've also checked the switching side of the relay with a multimeter and its open ie. no permanently closed. I don't think the relay is the problem however, I think it may be the fan speed controlled due to the fact that the fan is always on as soon as I turn on the ignition, plus the fan speed is not adjustable. Can you help?
