Hi as an Italian national who's been living in the UK for 6 years now, and holder of a UK permanent residency document (since last year), I know I can apply for UK citizenship (via AN form, or naturalisation as a Brisih citizen form). I would just like to be sure 1000%, though, that if I apply via this AN form, eventually I will get a dual citizenship, and I do not run any risk of loosing my Italian citizenship.

Thank you very much

Yes, both the UK and Italy allow dual citizenship, so you will keep your Italian nationality in addition to your British Citizenship.

Hope this clarifies any doubts
