British Home Office, pertaining to a recent sponsored application

This answer was rated:

British Home Office, pertaining to a recent sponsored application by my wife done overseas to visit me in UK. The application was denied simply because the question (pareagraph 41)
the question at 19 of how long will you stay, (which the allowed time is 6months ) I had her
put "as long as necessary " as I had explained and shown the reason for visit was to be here for my Brain Surgery , in which the Entry Clearance Officer noted this is a compassionate circumstances due to my health. So a "REFUSAL OF ENTRY CLEARANCE " after 4 weeks which , the centre promised by the Visa Application Centre in Cyprus said for this Express fee
for DHL a 5 day back & fourth will be done, it took 4 weeks. I have now spent 2 weeks since trying to get this rectified before my Surgeon ( yesterday he insist I come in for operation. The Refusal does not allow for APPEAL, ) The procedure that I'm left with
is to re-apply, can take up to 6months. My question is how can I get help under emergency circumstances and simply if I had put 3 or 6 months on the paper, and have my wife with me during surgery. Once again (1) question simply , no websites no agencies...
no in-between, here we go: How Can I get this Emergency solved ?
p.s. I've talked to HOME OFFICE # ***** times no use ...............................
I've talked to Appeal, false # ***** to try, Emergency scenario.........who, what ?

Cyprus, and filipino national with multi-visa for USA, where we married

Is she legally resident in Cyprus?

Yes she is, she is a Legal Alien tru my dual Nationality, permaNENT

Thank you.

Arguably, if you have been living in Cyprus for a long period, your wife would fall under EEA rules and would not even require a visa to visit the UK as long as she could provide proof of your nationality and her relationship to you I.e. Marriage certificate.

This is under the Surinder Singh case. So she may simply book a flight to the UK and explain why she does not require a UK visa if challenged at the UK Border.

The other option I am afraid is for her to reapply for a visit visa and as you say, insert 3 to 6 months for intended stay in the UK.

I am afraid there is no other option available other than the above.

May I help further?
