Customer Question

I am a Canadian citizen with a permanent residency status (Green card) in the USA through marriage to a US citizen. I was born in Canada in 1982 to a British mother (British by birth in the UK). Do I qualify for British citizenship as a person British by decent? If I qualify, can I be a citizen of Canada, the USA and the UK simultaneously? Or will I lose citizenship in one of these countries automatically?
