I want to overstay my visa days and want to know

Customer Question

I want to overstay my visa for 20 days and want to know if it is legal?
My visa type is spouse tier 4.
I previously had been refused two times by home office because of applying for wrong type of visa, then I asked lawyer to help me and got Tier 4 spouse visa, as my husband studies at University in London.
My visa expires on 05.04.2015 and I want to leave London on 21 of same month.
I know that I can apply for another visa and automatically remain in uk until I get answer from visa, but the problem is I don't want to pay 600 pounds visa fee for 20 days stay.
Could you please tell me if it is legal to overstay visa and for how many days and if I will problems in future application for visa from my country (Armenia). My husband is also Armenian

You are fine if you overstay for less than 28 days after your visa expires.
As long as you leave the UK on the 21st April and pay for your ticket back home, your overstay will not be held against you up when making future visa applications.
Hope this helps
