Hello, I am going to apply for british citizenship. I was born in 1971 in then Czechoslovakia /now Slovakia as it devided into Czech Republik and Slovaka Republik/ Do I have to write in form I was born in Czechoslovakia or Slovakia? Thank you

Customer: I am only about to fill in the online aplication form. I live in UK. My citizenship is Slovak Republik-Slovakia.

You need two referees.

From the AN Form:

"One referee should be a person of any nationality who has professional standing, such as a minister of religion, civil servant, or a member of a professional body such as an accountant or solicitor (who is not representing you with this application).

The other referee must normally be the holder of a British citizen passport and either a professional person or over the age of 25."
