Assistant: What steps have you taken? Have you filed any paperwork with the UK government? What country do you live in? What is your citizenship?
Customer: I am British national overseas, the 5 years route is on Tier 5 YMS , and study visas
Assistant: Have you talked to a lawyer about the green card?
Customer: no
Assistant: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: that I am a BNO passport holder, wants to apply for ILR after 5 years in the UK, but is under Tier 5 YMS, short term study visa etc

hello basically to sum up my question, will I be eligible to apply for ILR after 5 years in the UK with a BNO passport

Please you give dates of both of above visas?

the short term student visa is going to end next year July


i can help you for your concerns.

you will have to spend 5 years in UK with that visa which leads to ILR. for example, Tier 2 general visa, British Spouse visa, tier 1 visa.

student and Youth Mobility Scheme both visas do not leads to ILR even you have BNO Passport.
