If a pension adjustment order is granted but not applied to

This answer was rated:

If a pension adjustment order is granted but not applied to the pension is there a time moratorium on the order.
1. There is a six year time limit on the implementation of all courts orders in Ireland, including a pension adjustment order. Accordingly, once six years have elapsed, the pension adjustment order cannot be implemented, unless you agree to this course of action. However, be aware that in a family law proceeding the court could go back and make the order again if an application of this nature is brought before it. However, this requires positive action on the part of the claimant and the court granting judgment again.
