I have a 2004 right hand drive Cherokee which has water ingress in the drive side footwell.
Any thoughts on possible cure?

Can you please tell me - does the car use / lose engine coolant at all ?

No coolant loss. Water ingress coincident with heavy rain when standing outside. Does not seem ingress while travelling on wet roads. Car has in the past suffered front end damage.

It also has a sunroof (i think I mentioned this).
