Just taken a Grand cherokee in part exchange. Problem is that it wont start hot or cold. However, a squirt of easy start and it fires up straight away. Runs absolutely fine with no warning light Its a 2003/2.7 litre auto. Thanks, Dave.
Name isXXXXX goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back,

Check the resistance of the glow plugs ,you should have 0.1 to 1.0 ohms.

Sounds like you have a glow plug system failure .

Remove each glow plug and test with a good car battery, should glow with in seconds do not hold on longer than 15 seconds in that time it should be glowing from the tip to the base .
If one or more do not glow replace all plugs .

If all are good then please get back to me for further instructions ,
