Where is the throttle position sensor in 2007 3.0 CRD Grand

Customer Question

Where is the throttle position sensor in 2007 3.0 CRD Grand Cherokee.
Gas pedal is inoperative whilst driving, if I lift foot off the gas pedal and try agin, it responds. Sometimes I have to try a few times to get a response from the gas pedal. At all times the engine is on.
Thank you,

Hi Ray .

Did you check for any management malfunction codes .

If the TPS .ACC ps fail it will trip a malfunction code .

Parts on this Jeep are very expensive so lets make sure this is your problem .

Have the car hooked up to a scan tool and check for codes .like for example common on this engine P2138 & P2121.

Check then please get back to me .

Hi Greg,
Just received your response and second email. The car was recalled by Jeep and I used the opportunity to get a diagnostic done. I will send you the code page this evening when I get back from work.
Many thanks,
