Customer: 99k miles. It's steady I'd say
JA: Are you fixing your Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nope, I just need to know exactly what it is. Need it diagnosed ideally
JA: Is there anything else the Mechanic should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

Good morning welcome to Just Answer, my name is James.

the fist thing to do is pull all spark plugs and note there condition than run a compression test to check engine condition, they should all be close to the same reading.

Expert:  James Davy replied 11 days ago.

If compression is good you might as well change wires, cap and rotor along with the spark plugs.

Thanks for your question.
