How can I remove the red plastic cover to the positive battery terminal to let me remove the battery?
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?

Customer: No. I just want to remove the battery or attach a battery charger.

Hi..there..

 

What kia model is this? normally these just have plastic flip/hindged type covers over the terminals..you just prise it up and it flips open..if you have pic you can send i can confirm for you..

It is a Picanto Kia 2015 year

This is on a 2015 picanto in the picture..you just squeeze the tabs as per the picture and hidges open to loosen the terminal bolts the whole lot lifts off
