I can't find:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Any Weblock 1.0.0 - also looked for AnyUtils
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\program name - I assume you mean Any Weblock or AnyUtils here
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\eg ui - nothing of that name under \run
is what came up
I'm afraid it hasn't made any difference
Have searched with revo in programs and logs by all search criteria, searching for weblock, we block, anyutils and any utils and there is no sign of the program on my computer
Still can't access the sites. However - I have noticed one difference now:
Before, I used to get a message saying:
server not found - firefox can't find the server at xyz.
Now I am just getting a blank screen.
I usually use Firefox - should I still do this through IE?

Yes - "Webpage cannot be found"

Sorry - I may not have been clear about this - I didn't block ALL websites - only a few time wasting ones which I selected myself, such as facebook, wikipedia, bbc etc. I have full access to other sites.

Did both steps, but no change.
After the first stage I got this message:
