Hi, my cursor of Acer Aspire 5551 has frozen, F7, or rebooting did not work. I am not able to click on any thing and can not access auto repair. Help please

Can you turn off the Acer and remove the battery and power cable.

Then hold the power button down for 35 seconds, and release.

Put the battery back in, connect the power cable and turn on the Laptop.

Tell me if the cursor now works please.
