mouse not working on my laptop

Hello Chris! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you mean the touchpad/mousepad?

If you connect an external USB mouse to the laptop, does it work?

What's the model of your laptop?

Do you see a touchpad/mousepad icon at one of the function row keys (F1 to F12) on the keyboard?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

Toshiba don't see touchpad icon on F1-F12

Haven't got external mouse to try at present

Thank you. Can you please check at the back/bottom of your toshiba laptop for the exact model, such as c660-s5512?

Please let me know. Thank you

YCO43928R or possibly PSKGAE- 002001EN

Thank you. Can you please press the key F5 in order to enable/disable the touchpad/mousepad?

If that does not work, can you please press at the same time the two keys Fn and F5 in order to enable/disable the touchpad/mousepad?

Please click on the Reply to Expert tab below, and reply back to me, so I can help further if there is still any issue. Thank you
