Hello, welcome to JustAnswer my name is ***** ***** I'm one of the experts who will be assisting you today.
Try pressing and holding the power button for a full 6 seconds until you see the laptop turn right off. Once it's off, let go of the button then power it back on.
Tell me what happens when you do that.

Can you go into the Applications tab and click on "New Task"?
If you get a little box, type explorer and hit Enter.

Oh right, right click each of those explorers you see and End Task or End Process to close it.
Then once you have no more explorer listed under processes, go back to File, New Task and type explorer then hit Enter again like you did before.

Great, you might have a virus on the computer so I recommend you run a Malwarebytes scan.
