I always get the error message on my acer aspire 5536 as follows: -
Fail! WSI file does not existed.
how di I resolve this or what is WSI file?

Yes, it does start perfectly alright except it is always asking for the recovery disk which I do not have. I tried keying in "ALT F10" Function and it worked until I got the error message "WSI files does not existed!"
Do you think this laptop is repairable?

your advice was to press F8 of which I did. Immediately after pressing this function, the computer went black/blank and it is no longer working.

yes, F8 should take you to the windows startup menu to choose safe mode.
Remove the power to the computer then hold the power button down for 60 seconds then release.
Then connect the power and tell me if it now starts please.
