When playing sound I am met with a continuous high pitched

This answer was rated:

When playing sound I am met with a continuous high pitched squeal. How can I fix it? It says that the speakers are working correctly.

Hi there and welcome

What is the make and model of the device this is occurring on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Acer Aspire Switch 10E

Which version of windows are you using? And when did the problem first start?

Also what sound are you trying to play?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
windows 10, first started a few days ago, when i plugged a different headset in. Have run full virus scan, no viruses found. Any sound, seems to be from device itself although in settings it says speakers are working correctly.

is it only via the headsets? Or also via the speakers on the device?
