I have forgotten the password for my new laptop Assistant:

Alright, we need to reset the computer to factory setting which will remove all the data and applications. Is that fine?

1. On your password ***** Hold the Shift key on keyboard and click the Power icon (i) in the lower right corner.
2. Continue holding shift and select Restart. (Wait till computer restarts)
3. Select Troubleshoot.
4. Choose Reset this PC.
5. Select the option REMOVE EVERYTHING.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset Windows.

Yes, once you click on power icon you will see RESTART.

The laptop has reset and is installing windows. As this is likely to take some time i may have to leave for a meeting and leave it to finish on its own
please leave it for few minutes.
