Hi, i have a toshiba satellite l750d that will not charge the battery, it powers up without the battery plugged in but as soon as its inserted then it charges for a few seconds and then powers down
JA: How old is your Toshiba appliance?
Customer: i do not know 2012 i think
JA: How long has this been going on with your Toshiba appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i bought it a few weeks ago and it did not come with a battery, i purchased a new one and it all worked fine until the battery went flat and now that it is flat it will not charge up for more than a split second

i have tried uninstalling the battery drives via the device manager, the battery that i bought was new and the whole thing worked as it should but i did not notice that the laptop was running solely on the battery until it was all used uo and now the laptop will not start with the battery installed

May I know is your laptop still covered the warranty?

i have also checked the power adapter and the power connection and as thelaptop powers up withoutn the battery it seems that the problem lays elsewhere

  2. Shut down your laptop.
  3. Unplug the power cable from your laptop.
  4. If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it. ...
  5. Put the battery back in if you removed it.
  6. Plug in your laptop.
  7. Power on your laptop.

i have tried that before by watching that video on u tube and it made no difference
