Hi - suddenly I can't get bbciplayer on my toshiba tv
JA: What Toshiba model do you have? How old is it?
Customer: model: 24D3863DB it's about two years old - we used to get iplayer
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: the menu works, we get netflix and youtube but iplayer has suddenly disappeared
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: iplayer is the only thing we want really

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TV. I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.

Can you please remove the power to the TV and any other devices connecting to the TV such as a cable box, wifi router ect (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV and connecting devices, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Sorry this is no good. No worries, can’t get to control centre. All a joke.

I am connectedf on your phoner and asked you to

disconnect everything from the TV, so cable box, Bluray player, Antenna ect

Then connect only the power, power it on and tell me how it then functions please

There’s no evidence of iplayer anywhere this is the problem

It means the TV does not support this, if you wish to use the apps you need a Roku Stick which you can get here

You connect this to your TV's HDMI port and it will provide you with iPlayer plus hundreds of other apps.

But you need this in order to get this on the TV.
