Hello and welcome to Just Answer.

My name is Alex and I'm happy to help with your question today.

How old are they?

Has the house been transferred to them
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
My Mother has just died and my sisters are 69 and 64 and Barclays is doing the probate. Presumably the house will be transferred to our three names once probate has been sorted - but I am the one who would like the share of the house.

If the house is transferred you will have equal interests.

The other two sisters can buy your share.

If they refuse you cannot force sale. Two people are needed for that to happen.

Should your sisters refuse to pay or sell you can go to Court and ask the Judge to make a decision.

Once the property is held in joint names you will be able to use Property Law to force a sale of the property - which cannot be refused by the Judge.
On that basis it woudl be worth getting a Solicitor to point this out to your sisters to avoid the costs involved
