Customer Question

on oct28th we were travelling on the a361 from barnstaple to braunton when we were hit from behind by a vauxhall astra which shunted us into the car in front our car is a 4x4 kia sportage we all had had to slow up due to a cyclist in the inside lane the astra driver was responsible for the accident .The damage to our car was that we had to have body work to the rear and front plus we noticed a leak to the front of the car the temperature gauge did not alter but we had no heater in the car saga our insurance was notified and our car was taken away on a low loader to vospers in exeter to have the repairs done 5weeks later we were told by vospers that our car was ready but the front of the car had not been repaired due to saga not telling them to do it on several occasions it was mentioned about the water leak so we assumed all had been repaired .We received a phone call from vospers on dec 19 at 10.30am to say our car was ready and they were returning it to us later that day we never heard anything from them . sinnce that day it has been revealed that vospers bodyshop has gone into liquidation our car is now at the kia garage in exeter where they have now found out that we need a new engine and radiator due to vospers driving our car without doing the full repairs onit kia has given a quote of £6000 to put a new engine and radiator in which last week we were led to believe was to be paid by vospers as they are the people who caused the problem sag has confirmed this . In the last two days saga has decided to right our car off even though all the body work has been done we are now awaiting what saga is going topay us out with we think we have been poorly treated due to no fault of our own .we think vospers should pay for our car and saga recover the cost . Do you think we have a case? mr and mrs b bates rose cottage blakes rd landkey barnstaple devon
