As a former rbs employee I was part of a group insurance scheme

Customer Question

As a former rbs employee I was part of a group insurance scheme 10 1999, with a sum assured of 150k, I had a claim for a heart bypass turned down as they said I had a pre existing condition , although I did no realise this when joining or claiming on the scheme.
Can I now claim that the scheme was a regulated product under the FSA as I was missold it.

Thanks Alan

Had you consulted a doctor about whatever the condition was before you took out the policy? What did you say on the application form?

When was the claim turned down?

Have you ever claimed on the policy at all and been paid out?
