I have had to take time off work due to work related stress

Customer Question

I have had to take time off work due to work related stress and have submitted a doctors line for one week from 11/04/13. when do i return will it be 17th or 18th?
i also have an issue with my senior manager who has put undue pressure on me over the past 5 months and even after discussing ways to reduce my workload nothing was done to support me.
i wish to put in a letter of grievance against my manager due to the way i have been treated in my workplace. how soon do i need to do this?

Hello, my name is Ben and it is my pleasure to be able to assist with your question today. If you submitted a doctor's note for 1 week starting from the 11th then it will expire on the 17th, which means you would be expected at work on the 18th.

If you wish to raise a grievance about this then you would be advised to do this as soon as possible as the more you delay this the more it am be suggested that you had simply accepted the situation and your rights will be affected. So do not delay the grievance if you wish to pursue it.

Please take a second to leave a positive rating as that is a very important part of our process. Your question will not close and I can continue providing further advice if necessary. Thank you

Sorry for the slight delay I was called into a meeting earlier on. Does the organisation have a grievance policy in place?
