Max Lowry :

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. I will help you with your question.

Max Lowry :

Is this just a typo or have they been appointed to a different company?

JACUSTOMER-196z9nnh- :

it sees to be a typing error.sorry for late reply

Max Lowry : That's okay - don't worry. If this is a typographical error and the appointment isn't to a different company then there is little in this I'm afraid and you should assume that there is no difference.
JACUSTOMER-196z9nnh- :

would my best option be to contact a local solicitor as soon as possible?

The claim against you continues, and you need to be able to deal with that at Court.

If you are comfortable using the Court system, there is no need necessarily to see a lawyer, although that said, it can have big advantages to see a lawyer as they will be conversant with the legal system and familiar with the law. So, it might prove to be a useful more.

Also, a company in administration is a prime candidate for a security for costs order against it. This is where the company is ordered to pay money into Court incase it loses. Often, they cannot do this. This might, therefore, be a way to end this claim very quickly if the application is successful. For this reason, it might be worth seeing a lawyer.
