I am having problems with cancelling my subscription to e-cigs

Customer Question

I am having problems with cancelling my subscription to e-cigs brand. They will not respond to e-mails, a phone call just results in an automated American voice telling me that staff are "servicing" other customers...which, if you live in the UK, is a rather worrying bit of advice. I have tried their website, tried to cancel, all to no avail. Would it be advisable to send them a letter by recorded delivery and cancel any further payments through my bank, plus e-mail e-cigs again telling them of my decision, saving copies, of course. I believe that in the UK that anyone who sends goods that you have not asked for or have cancelled, with written or printed proof, is required by law to be responsible for the collection of such goods, and cannot compel a payment?

Hello, I am Law Denning and I am a practising solicitor in a High Street practice. I have been an expert on this website in UK law since 2008. During that time, as you appreciate, I have answered thousands of questions from satisfied users on a variety of subjects. Because we are all in practice with clients and court and other users, I might not always respond in minutes. Please bear with me in that case

It is my pleasure to try and assist you with this today. Please bear with me while I gather some further information from you in order for me to be able to advise you fully.

Unless I have all the facts that I need, my answer would not be accurate.
