We took out PPI insurance back in the 70s and 80s with banks

Customer Question

We took out PPI insurance back in the 70's and 80's with banks and building societies. We now pay small amounts monthly for debts from that period under a debt advisor scheme when we enquired about trying to claim some of our PPI money back as advised by one company we were told that this was not possible as we were paying monthly debt payments Please can you tell me if this is the case
Thank you
