Hello and welcome to Just Answer.

My name is Alex and I'm happy to help with your question today.

Has the Tribunal agreed to hear the case in absence?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

There said if a party does not attend a decision can be made.

The Tribunal has a discretion.

If the absence of a party is due to a good reason e.g. illness, then the hearing could be adjourned to another day.

In the absence of a good reason, usually the hearing will proceed in absence and the Tribunal will make a decision based on the information presented in the documents.
