Does a parking space in a contract automatically mean 1 car

Customer Question

Does a parking space in a contract automatically mean 1 car space. If the parking space is sufficiently big to fit two cars, where one blocks the other, does that imply that a couple sharing the space is breaching the law?

We have a tenancy agreement where a parking space has been allocated to us. The space is a corner one and two cars can easily fit if one blocks the other but due to its shape it cannot be let out as two separate spaces. We are a couple and have two cars which we manage to fit in this space by blocking one. We still respect the white markings on the ground and never go beyond the markings . The letting agency are insisting that that space is only for one car and we cannot park two even if they fit in this corner space. Are we breaching the law?
