Thank you for your question. My name is Jo and I will try to help with this.

In order to give you an answer tailored to your circumstances, I will just need to ask you some preliminary questions so that I can consider your position from all angles.

Did you agree a cooling off period?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hello my name is Alex and I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply as this is not an ‘on demand’ live service, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return. There is no need to wait here, you will get an email when I reply.

I see the expert has opted out. Did you order online or at the dealership? Did you have the extra items on the Order form?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Ordered at dealership and items on order form

Expert:  Ash replied 4 years ago.
If the goods are not as described as per the Sale of Goods Act then yes you can cancel and get a full refund. It is not beyond the real of possibility that if there was going to be a problem the manufacturer could have called the dealer, who could have called you to say that items were not available.

So assuming you do not have the car then yes you can cancel and get a full refund. If you have collected the car then all you can do in law is get a refund on the purchase price of those extra items.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
