I want to use a logo from a tv series for my company. Can I copyright it or how do I do that or what kind of permissions do I need?

The starting point should be to check the Trade Mark Register here http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-os.htm .

If the logo is a registered trade mark then you will need permission of the owner to use it.

If you are using the logo in a different class or services and goods and it is a generic logo then you may not need permission to use it.
