Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I have included in my will a friend. In the event she dies before my will

is executed on my death what happens to my legacy to her. Will her

family benefit

Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 years ago.

Unless s33 of the Wills Act is excluded, or unless the wills says something else, then if she has children, her children will get her share divided equally between them if she predeceased you.

It does not go to grandchildren or spouse, just children including adopted children of the deceased.

Can I clarify anything for you?
