I have inheritance via probate that I have not got yet .but I have a I.v.a Can I refuse my inheritance and nominate my daughter to receive it and how do I do it

HI thanks for your question.

You can renounce a legacy but if you do that, that part of the estate will be treated as on intestacy. so it may not go to you or your family at all. If you simply try and transfer it your daughter which may be possible with the agreement of all the other beneficiaries , it would most probably be regarded as a fraud on your creditors and could due set aside.
