Who is at fault?
I was driving at 25 miles an hour at 7p.m on a dark February night and was aware that ahead of me in a row of parked cars was a male who had partially opened his off side passenger door i.e into the road. I gave enough space to pass his car when he opened the door even further into the near side front of my car knocking the wing mirror of and denting the door.

Not immediately coming toward me as I passed, but it is a busy road

Alex Watts : Then you are both at fault.
Alex Watts : You should have left enough room and the other driver should have looked before opening the door.
