Is watching internet pornography, not downloaded legal in England?

Thank you for your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will try to help with this.

-Could you explain your situation a little more?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I am just researching what is legal and what is not.

What type of pornography?

You are thinking of watching consenting adults performs acts that do not amount to mutilation?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No I am not. Something I read in the paper.

There is no law against watching pornography online or in any other form of pornography in the UK.

Obviously it does have to involve consenting adults. Indecent images of children are unlawful as are depictions of a person who does not consent.

The only other restrictions are upon extreme pornography but they cover things like severe sadism, beastality and sex with corpses. Extreme pornography is not common in the UK.

Standard pornography is perfectly lawful although obviously there may be restrictions upon where you can watch it. Within your own home you can do as you wish unless it contravenes other laws.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need more information.
