I have been told i have a floater on my knee detected 2012 but was told xray was fine back then. I have been told my knee problem was house maids knee so put up with pain ever since. 2 weeks ago i visited my gp again regarding same pain in knee but can't bend it much was sent again for another xray to check for oa on knee again came back fine. Yesterday my knee gave way so went to minor injoury unit had yet anther xray from differant angle to be told i have a floater and had to go fracture clinic today where i was told i had the floater back in 2012 and have arthritis in knee cap should they have withheld this information from me? I thought the floater had only just happend.

It could be that your condition was medically misdiagnosed by your GP which is quite common and is known in law as clinical negligence.

Clinical negligence claims are very common and there are lots of lawyers out there who may take your case on a contingency fee basis I.e. No win, no fee.

Hope this helps
