Ask a Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello my name is Alex and I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply as this is not an ‘on demand’ live service, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return. There is no need to wait here, you will get an email when I reply.
Have the CQC given any reason why they are more visited please?
No they haven't..
Ok. First they need to write to the CQC at:
CQC National Customer Service CentreCitygateGallowgateNewcastle upon TyneNE1 4PA
They need to set out the position and why they think they have been treated unfairly.
The CQC will write within 3 days and acknowledge the complaint
They will write within 15 working days telling you what they have done and if they can resolve it
If they are still unhappy they can escalate the complaint further. They would need to write to:
CQC Corporate Complaints TeamFinsbury Tower103–105 Bunhill RowLondonEC1Y 8TG
The complaint will be reviewed within 20 working days.
If they are still not happy then they can seek a Judicial Review of the decisions by the CQC
This would then be considered by a Judge of the High Court who will either agree with the decision or remit it back for further consideration,.
For that they would need a Solicitor as it can be complex process and need representation in Court.
But they are the three steps to follow
Ok could you go straight to complaints
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please>
You need to do the 3 steps
1) National Customer Service Centre
2) Corporate Complaints
3) Judicial Review
A Judge would have expected you to have done this.
Can I clarify anything else for you?
ok, my mum feels it is a personal attack on my dad as he was under review in a totally unrelated subject and the CQC first visit just asked about this case instead of what they were meant to. I personally think this is out of order.
Yes. But if you take the above steps then this should hopefully resolve matters for them.
Does this answer the question for you?
