Hi there, i am a tenant in a 2 bedroom flat in London. My rent

Customer Question

Hi there, i am a tenant in a 2 bedroom flat in London. My rent is £2150 per month. The heating system is underfloor heating. For the first 9 months of my tenancy, from August to April, I had no heating in the sitting room/kitchen area which comprises slightly more than half the area of the flat. There were 6 or 7 visits by specialists and in the end it was a fault with the valves in the boiler. Also during this time there were two weekends and without hot water. I bought two portable heaters during that time and used the oven to keep the room warm during the coldest months. My landlord hasn't made any offer of compensation. Am I entitled to that? How much is reasonable if I submit a request to him? Thank you.
