I am not divorced but I am separated and living with a partner for over 10 years. When in this partnership my partner has purchased a house her name to avoid any complications for my separated wife to make claims . I only and solely living in this house paying all outgoings , paying for a house refurbishment/extension , furniture and and sharing all other costs like food. I have all banks, voting list, council, driving licence, car, insurance etc registered in this house.
My partner is very much attached to her children and my worry is that they may influnce her to sell a house which has nearly doubled in a value through development and refurbishment. Is there any way I can register my interest in a sale proceedings ?

There was agreement , I have handed her some amount of money about £5,ooo to help with deposit and after purchase I have financed refurbishment as house had to be refurbished to move in.

In fact there was nothing in writing as partners who had lived together before house was purchased we did not get any written agreement. It was on the basis - the house was mortgaged in may partners name , I was contributing towards morgae and house outgoings and financed refurbishment and extension to the house.

I'm sorry to ask the same question again, but it is a central part of what might happen, and I may not have expressed it correctly.
I understand that you contributed £5,000 towards the purchase of the house. If someone had been aware of all of the dicussions that you and your partner had had at that time about the purchase and beneficial ownership of the house, what would they have said you would have been entitled to if/when the house was sold?

I ma not sure as it was my partner's family who I can see now will not say anything about my contribution and I told only my daughter that I have contributed towards the purchase bu I have all invoices I have paid myself for building an extension, furtniture and refurbishment.

I am not sure as it may be a different situation and my partner under the influence could not make me a contributor. I have bills which I have paid for extension and refurbishments totaling about £60K .

None except broker, solicitor and my partner famly knew about her being the sole owner . Our friends were treating us a couple living together in their house. I have cashed my pension and endowment policy on another house where I am an owner in which my separated wife is living. This amount of money has been invested in my partners house refurbishment and building extension. I have treated it as our home.
