Hi, I am having trouble with our waste contractors. they are not collecting the rubbish as scheduled and have just been giving me empty promises each time I call them. Can I sue them for breach of contract?
Or is this a silly question?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,

I believe there is never a silly question.

Yes, you may sue them for breach of contract but you may find it more effective to get a solicitor to write a letter to them on your behalf pointing out their obligations under the contract with you, that they have repeatedly been in breach of such obligations and threatening to sue them for damages or have their contract terminated for such breach.

However, if you wish to claim damages from them, you will need to show what loss you have suffered to justify your claim for damages.

May I help further?
