Customer Question

Hi I have a uk ltd company and am going through a divorce. My wife was secretary but taken off 6/12 months ago and was only down as secretary for legal reason. She wasnt paid a wage didnt work for the company. I am the sole director. Is there any way for me to remove the money from my business account legally without my wife being able to touch it.

Thank you.

I am afraid your shareholding in the company and the assets of the company will be counted as your assets and will be taken into account when dividing up the matrimonial assets during the divorce proceedings.

I am sorry but I can only advise you truthfully.
